Yellowstone National Park, the First American National Park

Yellowstone National Park

A travel story of America’s first national park by Right Now Cleaning and Restoration, a carpet cleaning company in Butte MT, not far from Yellowstone:

Yellowstone National Park is one of those places were all components of nature have come together. We were a group of young students having a diverse propensity towards traveling and unique adventure habits. While we were traveling through America, we wanted to visit a place, which had a lot of offer for almost everyone in our group. Some of us liked to enjoy nature, landscapes, rivers, lakes, hiking. Others were more interested in places that had more to tell about the history of human civilization and the life on our planet.

While we were searching for our dream destination, we read about the first American national park known as the Yellowstone National Park. It is also widely accepted as the first national park in the world.

The national park was established in the year 1872 in the Yellowstone area where the Native Americans were living for more than 11,000 years. The park today spans over three states of the United States i.e. Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, while the most area is inside the state of Wyoming. The National Park is home to a natural habitat containing lakes, rivers, canyons, volcanoes, geothermal geysers, and a vast mountain range.

There is a presence of diverse species of birds and animals. Tourists can enjoy a cowboy lifestyle, horseback riding, rodeos, fishing and camping at the national park. There is hardly any other place in the country where tourists can enjoy such diverse ways of entertainment and adventure.

Witnessing the Awe Aspiring presence of Old Faithful

Yellowstone National Park has the largest active field of geysers and hot springs in the world. Old Faithful being the most famous geyser. We first went to witness the majestic presence of Old faithful before we went to see the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The Grand Canyon at the Yellowstone National Park is among the most artistic places on Earth. We spend hours here watching the show put up by the lower falls at the Grand Canyon. This also reminded us of the Grand Canyon in Arizona formed by the Colorado River.

Hiking through the Yellowstone and the Grand Teton Parks

We wanted to relish in the beauty and tranquility of the Yellowstone National Park. We decided to hike through Yellowstone and the Grand Teton Parks. This place is painted in the colors of nature and the scenery here filled our hearts with joy and satisfaction.

Fishing, Rafting, and Paddling in the Yellowstone Lake

While some of us were content with fishing in the Yellowstone Lake, others wanted to feel the rush and excitement of rafting and paddling along the lake. We caught fish for dinner. Later on while the other group went near the lakeside geyser rafting and returned to the shore.

Camping in the Yellowstone National Park

The National Park has a camping site where the tourists can spend the night. We had caught fish from the lake so we wanted to enjoy a self-cooked dinner under the starry sky of Wyoming. Camping proved to be the best time spent here enjoying the company of the people we loved at this amazing place.

The Natural Habitat at the Park

The park is home to hundreds and thousands of birds and animal species. You can find bears and wolves here, which became a source of great amusement for us on the trip.

We spend more the week here enjoying the marvel of nature.
